Preparing for a garage sale includes deciding on a sale date, collecting and displaying sale items, and promoting the sale. In order to use the entire garage space efficiently to display sale items for a sale some simple solutions were implemented. Empty paint buckets and existing doors were used to create temporary tables to display tools. Existing nails around the garage perimeter held garden hose and saws. A metal coat rack was used to display extension cords. Paint supplies and household cleaning tools were arranged on shelves by type. Landscaping tools, cleaning tools, and salvage materials were grouped along two walls of the garage.
