Kitchen Refrigerator Cleaning and Organizing – Example 2

This refrigerator needed to be scrubbed clean to remove spilled liquids and rotten vegetables. All of the items were taken out and placed on the counter to be wiped clean. Then the inside walls of the refrigerator were scrubbed to remove the sticky liquids. After cleaning, the items were grouped by similarity on the counter space and then placed back in the refrigerator according to size and use. Most of the condiments have been consolidated and stored on the door and include (from top to bottom) butter, cream cheese, international foods, salad dressings, pickles, mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup, BBQ sauce, and marinades. The drinks and taller containers have been placed on the top two shelves. Butter, eggs, sauces, dips, yogurts, fruit, and dessert condiments can be found on the third and fourth shelves. The top drawer holds meats and cheeses and the bottom drawer holds vegetables. The freezer contains ice packs on the top shelf of the door followed by frozen fruits in the shelves below. On the first freezer shelf are the desserts while the second shelf holds various frozen breads. The third shelf is a mix of frozen butter, meats, and miscellaneous items with the frozen vegetables grouped in the drawer below.
